After successful launch in Lahore, Islamabad, and Faisalabad, METRO Cash & Carry Pakistan now opens it wholesale center in Karachi. Currently, with 5 wholesale center in Pakistan (Two in Lahore, One is Islamabad, One in Faisalabad) METRO Cash & Carry is continuing its expansion strategy in Pakistan.
METRO CC is targeting professional customers like hotels, restaurants, and small retailers e.g. Kiryana Stores etc as well as individual customers are also taking benefits from it. The concept of METRO CC is to provide all the items under one roof.

Back to your question, In my opinion, it should be the METRO CC who bear all the expenses. The store manager (you bought the product from) should, himself contact the authorities and get you the replaced item. I don’t know why he referred to others.
Anyways, call the Manager of the outlet you bought the item from and ask him to guide you properly. Its his responsibility to handle the issue not yours.
