Ufone LogoBeing a loyal customer, I hate to write this but they made me do so. For the past few weeks, Ufone service quality has been pathetic disappointing. I am sure most of you (Ufone users) must be facing the issues I am. Sometimes I just get disconnected from the rest of the world. Can not send messages, can not dial or receive calls.

Today, same happened and I thought of contacting the Customer Support Center. Call connected and was put on hold. I waited for 20 minutes and then the call was disconnected. What the hell??? Why they are charging Rs. 1/- per call to customer center, claiming that this is to provide better customer service but it seems that its a new way of robbery by Telecom Companies. I called again and now 15 minutes so far and no signs of Customer Service Representative. That’s coward. Just let them pick the phone and I will make them regret.
I am porting out. Yes, I can not bear this anymore. Tried to compromise because of the brand association but when brand doesn’t care, why should I? Just help me find a better network and if you are Ufone users, write your comments about the service.

Again 20 minutes and call disconnected.
Time of Calls (PST 12:40 AM – 1:20 AM)

Edit: Dialed called third time and finally someone picked up and told me that there is some maintenance happening thats why we are facing issues. I asked “Who on earth would intimate customers?” and asked about the last complaint (a week ago) I lodged, he was speechless. I am surely porting out now!

Ufone customer service is pathetic, and if we talk this in marketing terms than they are failed to bring value chain in their business.

Anyways I have ported out to Telenor, trust Telenor rates and services are much better than any other mobile operator.

Salam,
well one thing from my side, last month one commercial comes on TV to get your ufone back and enjoy 300 free minutes, and if you lost your sim you can pick it free of cost from any franchise customer care center

I visit one franchise which is near to my home, but they refused by saying this that they have no instruction from head office, and RS 50 will charge for new sim

then i complaint Ufone by email, i get reply very late when that promotion was end

I am happy with my telenor connection 🙂

Dear Mr. Zaheer Khan,

I have gone through your post regarding your issue of Customer Servies quality of Ufone.
On behalf of Ufone, i wish to clear one thing that “Re 1 per call charging is an industry practice for call centers and not specific to Ufone”, however for further investigations we need to know your cell number (the number from which you called) so that we can check from the system.

I agree all networks are charging Re. 1 but for what? For improvement of Customer Services right?

I have emailed you my number and we will see what you can come up with.

I am indeed a very unhappy customer of Ufone, so does everyone I know.

Yeah Right now charging Re. 1 is an industry practice. just like zaheer said isn’t this (Re. 1) to make Customer Service response faster so that people get quality customer service rather than they have to wait 20 minutes and then their calls are disconnected?

I am a Ufone customer for like 5 years but I’m quite fed up with their service level. Even if your cell phone isn’t off you get a message “The Number you are trying to reach (or call or whatever) is not available at the moment. Please try later”. Your SMS won’t deliver (have to send many times). Whenever customer service is called they tell us “We are doing some maintenance” (Seems like Ufone is always on maintenance :D).

I hope there is some better explanation to satisfy all unhappy customers (I wish if there is any).

Charging on call center, where 40% 333 call drops after 2 or 3 minutes while talking to CC officer.
